Recently, SAIC Group and Huayi Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, in which both sides will give full play to their directors to overcome key technologies and realize the localization substitution of basic core materials. In the field of hydrogen energy supply facilities construction, the two sides will jointly discuss the feasibility of transforming methane filling station into hydrogenation station and building fuel cell vehicle demonstration park.
It is understood that among the domestic independent brands, SAIC Group is the first automobile enterprise in China's automobile industry to put forward the "hydrogen strategy". The hydrogen strategy includes: launch at least 10 fuel cell vehicle products by 2025, reach a market value of 10 billion, establish a fuel cell R & D and operation team with more than 1000 people, and form a production and marketing scale of 10000 fuel cell vehicles with a market share of more than 10%.
Not only SAIC Group, but also the signing ceremony of BAIC Foton Shanghai light range strategic cooperation and 100 sets of Zhilan hydrogen fuel heavy truck project was held in Beijing last month. This batch of heavy trucks is the first batch production of 42t hydrogen fuel cell heavy truck tractors in China. The vehicles adopt the dual power drive combination of "fuel cell + power battery", and carry the mirror star series fuel cell system produced by Shanghai remodeling technology It is the first time to integrate key technologies such as high-power, high-efficiency fuel engine and large volume hydrogen storage system in China.

Earlier, in July, GAC announced that the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle was planned to be put into demonstration operation within this year; Great Wall Motor officially released the "lemon" technology brand; after matching the second generation hydrogen fuel cell power system, the driving range of the platform model will reach 1100 km, and the first hydrogen fuel vehicle platform of Changcheng will also be launched this year; BYD signed a cooperation agreement with Shudu bus It is suggested that hydrogen fuel cell vehicle products should be distributed. Therefore, the enthusiasm of domestic enterprises for hydrogen fuel cells is very high. As Ouyang Minggao said, China's hydrogen fuel cell industry is no longer a small industry, and enterprises are catching up with each other. Vehicle products, especially commercial vehicle products, are not inferior to foreign ones. Ouyang Minggao expressed confidence in achieving the goal of promoting 8000 to 10000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles by the end of this year.
1.5 million fuel cell vehicles
Hydrogen is considered to be an ideal alternative to fossil fuels. Now, as major economies around the world prepare to invest in environmental protection, hydrogen energy is increasingly becoming one of the mainstream energy sources. Not only China, but also the major developed economies in the world are vigorously developing the hydrogen energy industry, and the promotion of hydrogen fuel cell enterprises is in full swing.
Data shows that by the end of 2019, 24000 fuel cell vehicles have been promoted in the world, and 432 hydrogenation stations have been built. From 2015 to 2019, the global number of hydrogen refueling stations has increased by 135%; the hydrogen fuel cell industry is about to usher in a period of rapid development. According to the prediction of relevant research institutions, it is estimated that the global fuel cell passenger car ownership will reach 1-1.5 million by 2030. By 2050, hydrogen will be able to meet 18% of the global end energy demand, and the number of hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicles will reach 400 million, accounting for 25% of the total.
Canada is a pioneer in the research and development of hydrogen fuel cells in the world. Hydrogen fuel cells originated in the military of Canada and the United States. It is a technology for military to civilian use. Our neighbor Japan started the research on hydrogen fuel vehicles more than half a century ago. Honda showed fcx fuel cell vehicles at Tokyo auto show in 1999, while Toyota's Mirai produced more than 10000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles from 2014 to 2019.
It is worth noting that although it started late, South Korea has developed rapidly in hydrogen fuel electric vehicles. In 2019, the global sales of fuel cell vehicles in South Korea has reached 4987, surpassing Japan and ranking the first in the world. This is due to the huge subsidy from the South Korean government. It is reported that the subsidy proportion of fuel cell vehicles exceeds 60% of the selling price, and the subsidy of hydrogen refueling station accounts for 50% of the construction cost.
In Europe, Germany has more hydrogen stations than the United States, making it the second largest country with hydrogenation infrastructure in the world. Germany has 74 hydrogenation stations in operation, 26 of which are planned to be built, 100 by 2020, 400 by 2025 and 1000 by 2030.
Key core technology breakthrough
From a global perspective, although China's hydrogen fuel cells have developed rapidly in recent years, there is still a considerable gap compared with the world's advanced level. On the one hand, the related technologies are still in the stage of engineering development. Compared with benchmark products such as Japan, there is still a big gap in the main technical indicators such as reliability, cold start and power characteristics; on the other hand, although China has a large number of patents, it involves relatively few core technologies.
